'Thirty years ago, you never would've seen anything like this, and now there's people coming together'

A wave of orange could be found in downtown Calgary for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as Indigenous groups say the bridge to healing may be being built slowly, but is heading down the right path.

At the Confluence in downtown Calgary, Mayor Jyoti Gondek recognized the many Calgarians continuing to support the event and participate in reconciliation efforts.
