NEW YORK — From the moment he reached the big leagues, Brayan Bello has owned the stage at Yankee Stadium. The 26-year-old has made a habit of posting dominant performances in the Bronx, most recently throwing seven shutout innings in what wound up being a 1-0 Red Sox win this past August.
Now, Bello is back for the biggest start of his career.
Bello will take the ball for the Red Sox in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card series, facing off against Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon in his first ever playoff start.
