The Pirates are not retaining pitching coach Oscar Marin, third base coach Mike Rabelo and assistant pitching coach Brent Strom, a source informed the Post-Gazette.

Marin, 42, has been the Pirates’ pitching coach since December 2019. Rabelo, 45, has been the Pirates’ third base coach since November 2021. Strom, 76, became the assistant pitching coach in December 2024.

The Pirates made Don Kelly their permanent manager on Monday. Speaking that day to reporters, Kelly said he had not yet decided on staff changes and that those conversations would continue with general manager Ben Cherington over the following days.
