STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Pete Davidson isn’t convinced that fame sticks around for long.
During an appearance last week on comedian Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, the Staten Island native reflected on how fast public opinion can change once someone hits a new level of fame.
“Look at Pedro Pascal right now,” Davidson said. “F------ two years ago, you know, he’s a hardworking, great actor … blows up so f------ hard. Everyone’s like, “Daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy.” Right? And then a year later, he’s in everything now cause he’s hot and big and everyone’s like, “Go the f--- away, dude.”
Davidson said that actors like Pascal deserve time to adjust to the spotlight after decades of grinding in the industry.
