The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are dealing with injuries to their secondary, and the Steelers are unfortunately losing a promising young player as a result. On Tuesday, Tampa Bay placed second-year safety Rashad Wisdom on injured reserve and signed Sebastian Castro from Pittsburgh’s practice squad in a corresponding move.

Castro had yet to appear for the Steelers in a regular-season game. The undrafted rookie played relatively well for the Steelers over the summer, but was signed to the practice squad to start the year. Heading into Week 1, the Steelers carried four safeties on their roster: DeShon Elliott, Juan Thornhill, Chuck Clark, and special teams ace Miles Killabrew.
