PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman has been arrested in connection with a crash that killed a rideshare passenger in Phoenix two years ago, according to court documents newly obtained by Arizona’s Family.

Court records revealed that Bella Marie Bonanno was arrested on Monday on reckless manslaughter, aggravated assault and three counts of endangerment for the crash that happened on Tatum and Shea boulevards just before 2 a.m. on Sept. 9, 2023.

It’s unclear why Bonanno was arrested this week, approximately two years after the crash.

Arresting documents showed that Bonanno was driving a 2011 Toyota Camry and was speeding along Tatum when police said she ran a red light and crashed into a northbound 2014 Hyundai Elantra that was trying to turn left on a green arrow onto Shea.
