Boy died at Savage daycare days before his first birthday, family shares

The infant who died at a Savage daycare last week has been identified by family members as Harvey Gene Muklebust.

Harvey died Monday, just days before his first birthday, at Rocking Horse Ranch Childcare.

The state suspended the longtime daycare's license the next day, stating children at the facility were "at an imminent risk of harm", but authorities have not yet indicated what caused Harvey's death.

An online fundraising campaign is now raising support for Harvey's parents, Savage residents Hunter and Catherine Muklebust.

"Harvey, or Harv Monster, as his Dada and Mama called him, was pure happiness and sunshine from the moment he was born," the GoFundMe page reads. "Harvey was brave, daring, adventurous and loved to explore and play."
