The Oklahoma State Department of Education is facing allegations of wrongful termination and discrimination from its former employee and State Board of Education secretary.
Amy London, who joined the agency in January of 2024, said she initially worked directly with State Superintendent Ryan Walters as his office administrator.
In an interview with News 9, she spoke highly of their professional relationship. She said she became close with his family, celebrated holidays together, and that Walters always told her he had an open-door policy for any concerns.
But it all changed in early 2025, shortly after she assumed the new role as board secretary.
