ST. LOUIS — Police were investigating the death of a woman who died Tuesday afternoon in the Walnut Park West neighborhood.

Police said homicide detectives have been assigned to the case. The incident took place around 4 p.m. in the 6300 block of Shulte Avenue, police said.
