POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - A man wanted in connection with a Poplar Bluff shooting that left another man injured has been arrested.
The Poplar Bluff Police Department says 34-year-old Lamar Cashawn Brown, Jr. is now in custody thanks to a report from someone who spotted him in front of the Holiday Inn on Friday, October 3.
Police say after they tried calling Brown multiple times, asking to turn himself in, officers later saw him in front of the Super 8 Motel, and he was taken into custody Saturday evening, Oct. 4.
Brown had an active arrest warrant for first-degree assault with a $100,000 bond, stemming from the shooting that happened in the 1000 block of E. Harper Street around 2:28 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30.
