IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester did not give a very detailed updated on quarterback Mark Gronowksi, who left last Saturday’s contest against Indiana with an injury.

Lester says backup QB Hank Brown was put in a difficult situation, especially in a fourth quarter two-minute drill.

Lester says if Gronowski isn’t available for Iowa’s next game against Wisconsin, and Brown has to start, a week of practice will help him.

He also says he has different call sheets for different quarterbacks.

“It’s different when you have a week to prepare and when it happens in the middle of a game,” said Lester. “I have each quarterback fill out a form with their favorite plays I make my call sheet look like the starting quarterback, but I always keep (the others) in a file.”
