As September comes to a close, the Western Slope has moved into a seasonal and calm weather pattern. Today saw a healthy number of clouds in the skies, however, sunnier days ahead will allow us to warm up some more later this week. Tomorrow's high will be 78°, alongside a low of 54°. That sunshine will last up until Friday and have temperatures rise into the low-to-mid 80s. So, October is going to start off fairly warm.

That will all change once a cold front moves into the area Friday night and Saturday. Right now, we are expecting rainfall on Saturday. The angle of this front could change the amount of rain in the forecast, and a degree of skepticism has been added to this system's chances of seeing rain in Grand Junction.
