LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Monterey Lady Plainsman Ambrosia Cole is staying in Lubbock after committing to play Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball.

Cole announced her commitment to Krista Gerlich and Texas Tech women’s basketball on Tuesday evening.

Cole is an ESPN four-star recruit in the class of 2026 and is a top 100 players. She was a member of the Monterey state title team, which also featured the nation’s top player this year and Oklahoma Sooner Aaliyah Chavez.

Last year, she earned all-state honors during the state title run. She is the third 2026 commitment for Gerlich and the Lady Raiders.
