A New York woman was being held without bail after police said she tried to fraudulently apply for a loan from a Frederick bank.

A deputy from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Fulton Bank branch on Presidents Court in Frederick on Sept. 24 for a report of a woman trying to use someone else’s identification to obtain a loan, according to charging documents in the case.
