PAINSVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Two people were hurt in a Robinhood Avenue house fire in Painesville Township on Saturday.
Initial reports were that of a heavily involved house fire with a female victim still inside.
When crews arrived, they confirmed the female victim was trapped inside.
Firefighters pushed through the heavy smoke and fire, found the unconscious female, and got her to safety.
The victims were taken to a local hospital with burns and smoke inhalation.
Both are expected to recover from their injuries.
Firefighters were able to bring the massive fire under control after rescuing the female inside.
The cause is currently under investigation.
