EATON RAPIDS, Mich. (WILX) - News 10 Sports has learned that Mark Raczkowski is out as head football coach at Eaton Rapids High School. This was only Raczkowski’s second year on the job.

The Greyhounds were 0-9 in 2024 and were 1-4 this season after a narrow 7-6 loss to Lansing Catholic last Friday.

Raczkowski turned in his resignation Saturday, and after 48 hours of thought, he had an emotional meeting with school administrators Tuesday, ending with Raczkowski and Eaton Rapids agreeing to part ways.

Raczkowski told News 10 Sports he did not ask for his job back and described Tuesday’s meeting as very emotional. He has coached football, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track & field at various schools for 35 years.
