( 25News Now ) - On many occasions, Normal Community volleyball star Alanna Whitfield has made highlight after highlight from her position as a high-flying outside hitter.

However, the senior won’t be playing that role much longer, as she’s committed to play her next four years at Michigan State as a defensive-minded libero.
