FAYETTEVILLE Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) -- Arkansas legend John Daly chimes in on the Razorbacks search for a new head football coach. Endorsing both Jon Gruden and Bobby Petrino as candidates.
Daly was in attendance at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational watching his son John Daly II on the golf course Tuesday. Daly says he has spoken with Gruden in the past about potentially coaching at Arkansas and says he would love for Gruden to become the head coach of the Razorbacks.
The University of Arkansas relieved Sam Pittman of his duties following the Razorbacks 2-3 (0-1 SEC) start. Bobby Petrino is serving as the interim head coach for the remaining seven games.
