No. 2 Fox Chapel (11-1-0, 7-0-0) head coach Erik Ingram said that his team’s second win of the season over No. 3 Seneca Valley (10-2-0, 5-2-0) will serve as a great springboard for the WPIAL Class 4A playoffs, as goals from Carson Torres, Sean Regan, and Rocco Poli saw the Foxes run out 3-2 winners on the road.

“There’s a lot of mutual respect between the players and coaches, and it’s always a great battle,” Ingram said. “But to win that battle twice is huge for us. We always know going into the playoffs, Seneca is a team that you can always see making it to the finals. So to beat a team like that twice gives us a little bit of momentum and confidence at the right time of the year.”
