SARALAND, Ala. (WKRG) — The Saraland Animal Shelter is asking the public for help in identifying a vehicle that dropped off a litter of kittens.

According to a Facebook post from the Saraland Animal Shelter, the box of five kittens was dumped at the shelter, located at 104 Station Street, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 6:44 a.m.

The shelter is not equipped for the kind of care the kittens need, and they are seeking fosters or other rescues that can help.

They are also searching for the identity of the person who dumped them. Please contact the shelter at (251)-679-5570 if you have information on the vehicle or can assist with care.

"Abandoning helpless animals is cruel and dangerous. These babies deserve a chance to survive," the post said.
