New Delhi, Oct 01: Indian Railways is initiating a pilot assured transit time container train service between Delhi and Kolkata, starting on October 1, 2025. This service, operated by CONCOR, guarantees a transit time of 120 hours.

The bi-weekly train will run from ICD Tughlakabad in Delhi to CTCS Kolkata, stopping at Agra and Kanpur, thus enhancing cargo aggregation. Customers will benefit from waived empty wagon haulage charges and improved reliability for time-sensitive deliveries.
