Hurricane Humberto is poised to batter the UK this weekend, bringing seriously wild weather conditions.
The Category 4 hurricane has already wreaked havoc across the Caribbean, the US and Bermuda this week, with its remnants now heading straight for Britain.
This could trigger the nation's first named storm of the season, Storm Amy, with forecasters warning of ferocious winds and torrential downpours in what's being dubbed a "big one".
Weather experts predict the hurricane will drift into the wider Atlantic Ocean by Wednesday (October 1) evening, where it will diminish to tropical storm status.
Nevertheless, the Met Office has cautioned that Humberto is set to influence Britain's weather patterns later this week.
