KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Patchy fog this morning with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Winds will be light.

WEDNESDAY: Warm start to October with highs in the low to mid 80s, but it is coming with lots of sunshine. Only a small chance for a stray shower or sprinkle along the mountains.

LATE WEEK: Sunshine is sticking around, thanks to high pressure. Cool and more fall-like mornings settle in with seasonal highs back on tap. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80.

WEEKEND: The trend of pleasant to warm days and cool nights will continue with highs in the 70s to near 80 and lows in the 50s. Expect sun Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds by Sunday with a stray shower by evening.
