Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha led the state in paying homage to the maestro who gave us immortal songs like ‘Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai’, ‘Roop Tera Mastana’ and many more.

Speaking at a commemorative event in Agartala, Dr. Saha highlighted the profound role music plays in human life.

Drawing from his own experience as a doctor, he recalled how soothing music was often played before surgeries, helping not only to ease patients’ nerves but also to provide the surgical team and doctors with a sense of calmness and enhanced concentration.
