TEL AVIV, Israel (NewsNation) — Hamas is "likely" to reject President Donald Trump's proposed peace plan for the war in Gaza that aims to end the fighting and secure the release of remaining hostages, according to a senior Hamas official.

The official, speaking to the BBC, argued the proposal "serves Israel's interests" while "ignoring those of the Palestinian people."
