North Georgia EMC customers in Dalton had a power outage overnight after a police chase ended with a car crashing into a pole.

After crews cleared the accident, the power company said the pole had to be replaced before power could be restored.

North Georgia EMC estimated that power would be restored around 2:00am.

The power outage occurred west of I-75 and south of Highway 52.

All power has now been restored in the area.
