The Smash Open B started their ringette season over the weekend with a pair of exhibition games.

The Smash travelled to Lethbridge on Saturday for two games against the Open B Rattlers.

They won the first game 12-3. Kailyn Baum had four goals, Heather Kempthorne added four goals,both Hannah Thompson and Kayty Smith each had two goals, and Abby Haney had a solo tally. Tyler Leidal played in net for the Smash.

The Smash prevailed in the second game, winning 11-5. Baum led the offence with five goals. Leidal had two goals and all four of Kempthorne, Sophie Kerr, Thompson and Lindsay Hart scored as well. Mark Fisher played in net for Smash.

The next event for Smash is the CORA tournament in Calgary this weekend, followed by the Bridge City T
