MASON CITY—Mason City honored their seniors in a big way on Tuesday night with a win over Des Moines Lincoln.

The Mason City Riverhawks (3-13) defeated the Des Moines Lincoln Railsplitters (4-14) 3-1 in an Iowa Alliance Conference game. The Riverhawks celebrated their senior night, honoring their 10 senior players who have put their all into the game.

The Riverhawks dropped the first set 23-25 but swept in the remaining three sets (25-21, 25-16, 25-15).

Getting a huge win

Mason City has slowly been getting better since last season. Last year, they finished with only two wins, but they officially passed that threshold with a win against the Railsplitters.
