New Delhi: India’s rising star Abhishek Sharma scripted history in the latest ICC T20I rankings released on Wednesday, October 01, as he achieved the highest-ever rating by any batter. Abhishek further widened the gap at the top of the batter rankings in T20Is after his heroics for India in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2025 .

Meanwhile, Indian spinner Varun Chakaravarthy continued to retain the top spot in the bowling rankings in T20Is. However, Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was displaced as the no.1 T20I all-rounder by Pakistan’s Saim Ayub. Ayub managed to dislodge Pandya from the top despite an ordinary campaign in the Asia Cup 2025.
