SPRING, Texas – Deputies and federal agents are asking residents to avoid the Spring area as an active search continues for a man who fled from a traffic pursuit.

According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman, deputies are assisting the Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Office and ICE agents to set up a perimeter around Augusta Pines Drive near Kuykendahl Road.

This all happened after Herman said a man ran from a traffic pursuit and fled westbound across Kuykendahl Road toward a nearby high school.
