EPC contractor TKIL Industries (formerly thyssenkrupp Industries India) has partnered with Swiss manufacturer SoHHytec to set up a green hydrogen plant in India within the next year, a senior company official said. The collaboration will deploy SoHHytec’s proprietary artificial photosynthesis (photo-electrolysis) technology, which uses renewable energy sources such as solar and wind to produce cost-efficient green hydrogen for industrial applications. “We are hopeful that within the next 12 months, we will be building a green hydrogen plant with our technology,” said Vivek Bhatia, MD & CEO of TKIL Industries.
