Metrolink passengers are set for a day of disruption on two lines with 16 stations out of service.

Major engineering works are taking place on both the Ashton and Bury lines on Sunday (October 5).

No services will run between Ashton-under-Lyne and Etihad Campus, or between Bury and Crumpsall, as a result of the works.

It means no trams will stop at nine stops on the Ashton line - Ashton-under-Lyne, Ashton West, Ashton Moss, Audenshaw, Droylsden , Cemetery Road, Edge Lane, Clayton Hall and Velopark. Services will run between Etihad Campus and Altrincham .
