After rolling out entrance ramp metering along Interstate 96 in Oakland County , the Michigan Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to pull all the way up to the stop line on red lights.
Oakland County added traffic lights to eight freeway ramps on the I-96 Flex Route this summer in an effort to control the flow of traffic entering the freeway, according to an MDOT news release .
