With Halloween just around the corner, local farms are setting up scarecrows, pruning pumpkins and greasing tractor wheels for the season. Their annual harvest festivals feature pumpkin patches, hay rides, cute animals, games, live entertainment, mazes and more.

Bauman’s Farm and Garden
Kicking off its 38th Harvest Festival , Bauman’s Farm & Garden’s is offering a petting zoo, fall-themed games and rides, inflatable trampolines and live entertainment alongside the traditional corn maze, hay rides and pumpkin patch.
On Oct. 4, there will be a pumpkin weighing contest starting at 9 a.m., followed by a 1 p.m pumpkin drop, where a massive pumpkin suspended from a crane will be dropped into a pool of water. The annual cider festival
