ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester Mayor Kim Norton is calling for nominations for the Mayor’s Medal of Honor, an award celebrating residents who have significantly contributed to the community.

There are 14 categories, including Community-Wide Service, Champion of Diversity, and Heroism, among others. Nominations are due by October 31, and recipients will be honored at a luncheon in early December. This marks the 42nd year of the award in Rochester.

“The Mayor’s Medal of Honor is our opportunity to celebrate and recognize the outstanding contributions of our community members," says Mayor Norton. "I’m sure you know someone who gives back to our community worthy of recognition. Please nominate them today!”
