Rishab Shetty is back with the highly anticipated film Kantara: Chapter 1, a prequel to the sensational Kantara. He not only directed the film but also plays the lead role. The movie hits theaters worldwide tomorrow.

However, disappointing news has emerged for US audiences. Fans eagerly waiting to watch Kantara: Chapter 1 in IMAX were left upset, as the IMAX version content has not yet been delivered overseas. This led several theater chains to pull out IMAX shows. The distribution company has advised viewers to opt for other formats to enjoy the film.

Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, while Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, Pramodh Shetty, and others appear in supporting roles. Backed by Hombale Films, this pan-Indian release features a soundtrack composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
