CLEVELAND -- Chase DeLauter received a warm reception at Progressive Field when he was introduced prior to Game 1 of the American League Wild Card Series on Tuesday. Now, the Cleveland faithful is poised to get its first look at the 23-year-old on the highest stage.

DeLauter (ranked as the Guardians' No. 2 prospect and No. 54 overall , according to MLB Pipeline) will make his big league debut in Game 2 of the American League Wild Card Series on Wednesday. He is in the starting lineup, hitting seventh and playing center field, which will place him in exclusive company in baseball history.
