The BRS has accused the Congress-led Telangana government of betraying minorities and implementing the BJP’s Waqf Act amendments. Party leaders announced mosque protests on October 3 to highlight unfulfilled promises, including the Minority Declaration.

Hyderabad: The BRS charged the Revanth Reddy government with betraying minorities and implementing the BJP’s agenda in Telangana. The party leaders said though the Congress has been opposing the amendments to the Waqf Act by the BJP-led Central government across the country, Revanth Reddy is implementing it in the State.

They announced statewide protests at mosques on October 3, where the Congress Debt Cards will be distributed, questioning the unfulfilled promises.
