EXCLUSIVE: Apples Never Fall star Essie Randles has been cast in the Australian cold case drama The Killings: Parrish Station for streamer Stan.

She joins a cast including leads Mia Wasikowska, Xavier Samuel and Heather Mitchell. We were first with news of the series two weeks ago.

The drama follows Wasikowska ( Alice in Wonderland ) as a detective called in to investigate the 1987 massacre of four scientists brutally murdered in inexplicable ways, with a lone survivor the obvious suspect. When a chilling new spree of murders happens 37 years later, an older Georgia (Heather Mitchell) is pulled back into the nightmare.

Randles plays Elle Hardy, a senior constable assigned to reinvestigating the case.

The Killings: Parrish Station is currently shooting in New South Wales. H
