Investigators say the search continues for a missing woman who disappeared in the Sooke area in 2001.
Jesokah Adkens was last seen on Sept. 26, 2001 while waiting to catch a bus bound for Sooke around 9:30 p.m. She was just 17 years old at the time.
On the 24th anniversary of her disappearance, Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers re-issued an appeal for information.
“She would be 41 today,” wrote Crime Stoppers.
“Someone out there knows what happened. Let’s help bring Jesokah home and bring her family justice and closure,” said the organization.
Adkens is described as standing 5’5” tall and weighing between 88 to 110 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has blue eyes and blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a “Doors” band T-shirt, jeans, a black pullover and black runners.
