LINWOOD — A new, 22,500-square-foot veterans outpatient clinic is scheduled to open in November in the Cornerstone Building on Route 9, federal officials said.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 1 p.m. Nov. 7. Veterans Day is Nov. 11.

The facility was originally supposed to open at the end of 2024. No reason was given for the delay. It is expected to replace the current 10,000-square-foot facility on New Road in Northfield. The new facility will double the number of examination rooms at the Northfield facility. The Linwood lab also will be more than four times the size of Northfield’s. New services will be offered, including radiology and physical therapy.

Other local veterans clinics are in Vineland and Middle Township.
