LSU fifth-year senior quarterback Garrett Nussmeier's injury has been a "slow heal," but coach Brian Kelly said that he'll receive the rest he needs during LSU's off week this week.
Nussmeier suffered a torso injury during preseason camp, an issue that has lingered into the regular season, and Kelly said after the Tigers' win over Florida that it was a problem that wouldn't resolve itself until LSU's off week following the Ole Miss game.
