Frustrated Stirling Albion boss Alan Maybury admits his side’s inconsistency has left him scratching his head for answers as Clyde swept to victory at a sodden Forthbank. ‌

The Binos had come into the game against the in-form Bully Wee - managed by ex-Stirling gaffer Darren Young - off the back of arguably their best display of the season in sweeping aside league leaders Spartans 3-1 at Ainslie Park. ‌

But after a tight opening half, two goals on the stroke of half-time swung the contest decisively in the favour of the visitors and they used that boost to add to their scoreline before Russell McLean added a late brace of consolation goals in a 4-2 defeat for Albion. ‌
