Orange Shirt Day carries message: 'Every Indigenous person is important'

The Orange Shirt Walk was inspired by Phyllis (Jack) Webstad, whose new orange shirt, bought by her grandmother, was taken from her as a six-year-old girl on her first day at residential school.
