Poetry Symposium at Punjab University Pays Tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Chandigarh, October 1, 2025 – The Punjabi Literary Society, School of Punjabi Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, organized a poetry symposium today in memory of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh.

The event opened with remarks by senior professor Dr. Sarbjit Singh, who highlighted Bhagat Singh’s life and urged students to see him not merely as a revolutionary, but as a profound intellectual. He stressed that understanding Bhagat Singh’s ideas can help today’s youth cultivate sharper and more mature thinking.
