KENNEWICK, Wash. – Illegal drugs, several cell phones and over $3500 in cash were seized from a driver who ran a red light in the early morning hours Wednesday, according to the Kennewick Police Department in a social media post.

KPD conducted a traffic stop at around 1:50 a.m. near Clearwater Avenue and Kellogg Street, and reported that they observed drugs inside the car.

KPD also confirmed the driver had ran a red light in the comments on their post.

Details about the drugs seized were not given, but KPD said they seized “multiple baggies” of drugs.
