MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Many travelers are wondering what the federal government shutdown might mean for them.

Things were quiet Wednesday at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, with arrivals and departures on schedule, and officials said they're expecting it to stay that way.

Transportation Security Administration employees will continue to work, but they won't be paid until the government opens up again.

During the last shutdown seven years ago, some TSA workers around the country called out of work. The resulting staffing shortages created long waits for travelers going through security.
