Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Brigade has begun work to add locked gates around its premises after experiencing relentless theft over the past few months.
The brigade first took to social media in June to discuss the “disappointing behaviour impacting community safety” after individuals entered the fire station by cutting through rear fencing, and stole parts and wheels from donated training vehicles.
“This behaviour not only undermines our training efforts but also raises concerns for the safety of private vehicles parked on site while our crews are out responding to incidents,” the brigade said on Facebook.
