Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District inspectors found medicine stored near food, raw chicken stored next to bread and other health violations at restaurants in September.
Out of more than 230 businesses inspected, 12 scored below a 90, and 98 received perfect scores. In September, Estrella de Jalisco on Leopard Street and La Playa on South Padre Island Drive scored the lowest with 79s.
