LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - For the first time in college football history, a game will be played at Wembley Stadium.
On Wednesday, the Big 12 Conference and Kansas -- which will serve as the home team -- announced plans to play in the inaugural Union Jack Classic at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.
Rumored to be the case for several weeks, reigning Big 12 champion Arizona State will be Kansas’ opponent for the game, which is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026.

Still, the Jayhawks will play six other home games in Lawrence next season as the east side of the stadium
